The psychotic debt of conspiracy

For now all I have to point out is how the conspiracy theorist community owe a great deal to psychotic and schizophrenic people. So much of their content has psychotic origins and nobody seems to give credit where it is due. For the amount of content it has produced, there is so little recognition and even awareness of the condition within the community. As for the true purpose and nature of psychosis, no answers or even speculation is offered by almost anyone. The phenomenon of religious psychosis in particular highlights the spiritual nature of the condition which many experience. Psychotic tendencies exist in 8% of the population but only 1% actually experience an episode. Additionally no resources are offered for those who fall down rabbit holes and become psychotic, to the contrary they are treated with mockery by the general public and become targets of trolling.

For the record psychosis is a serious condition and the earlier it is caught, the better the prospects of the individual. Increased awareness of the condition in the general public and within conspiracy communities could help identify warning signs and improve outcomes for many.
